Fulvia Morabito with a diploma in piano (Conservatorio Luigi Boccherini, Lucca) and a degree with distinction and the right of publication in musicology (University of Pavia), in 1994 joined the editorial staff of the Stichting-Fondazione Pietro Antonio Locatelli (Amsterdam-Lucca) as editor of the Locatelli Opera omnia; at the same time, involved in research, she published many pieces including monographs, edited works, articles, sleeve notes, etc. In 2003 she was nominated as expert in the subject “Baroque and Classical Music” at the University of Pavia. In 2004 she was among the founders of the biannual journal Ad Parnassum. A Journal of Eighteenth- and Nineteenth-Century Instrumental Music and of Ad Parnassum Studies (Ut Orpheus Edizioni). Since 2005 she has been General Editor of the Monumenta Musica Europea series (Brepols Publishers) and member of the scientific committee of the Italian National Edition of Luigi Boccherini’s Opera omnia (Ut Orpheus Edizioni). Since 2008 she has been member of the Advisory Board of the Francesco Geminiani’s Opera Omnia (Ut Orpheus Edizioni). She is currently president of the Centro Studi Opera Omnia Luigi Boccherini–Onlus, Lucca.
